Joseph De Sena, 44, has been an entrepreneur since his pre-teens. From selling fireworks at age eight, to starting a t-shirt business in high school, to building a multimillion-dollar pool business in college, to creating a Wall Street trading firm, De Sena is a living definition of the word "entrepreneur." Currently he is a managing director for ICAP, a brokerage agency.

Spartan Race has grown dramatically in 2013 over just the year before. The number of competitors now stands at approximately 350,000 racers in 60 races in 2013 in the U.S., Canada and the UK. Over 3 million "likes" are on Facebook, a new e-book is available at spartanrace.com, and an NBC Sports TV Special airs on Dec. 7, 2013. Participation in 2014 is expected to grow to 650,000 at events in 22-plus countries.

We made it to episode 50!

And it all started with a simple idea. To bring together the greatest minds in a quick and straight to the point format that would empower men to live better.

It worked and it changed the direction of Knowledge For Men forever. The impact has touched over half a million lives from over 100 countries. Yet, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows, and that’s what this episode is about.

The lessons i’ve learned come from the pain of the journey. My life savings nearly depleted, thousands of rejections, failures day after day, but just holding onto a dream for something better.

You see, when you’re committed to the journey then when something bad happens to you it will benefit you. These have been the greatest lessons i’ve learned thus far.

Noah Hammond has been a life coach for over 8 years and has coached thousands of men to unlock their confidence and reach their full potential. He's also an  entrepreneur and has built multiple successful online businesses.

Noah spent over two years training Brazillian Jiu Jitsu with some of the top fighters in the world. Riding motorcycles, attending Internet Marketing meet ups, training hard and slimming down became my daily activities.

Noah started  practicing yoga which lead him to even more clarity and opened me up to new forms of energy work and meditation, including qigong and a healing modality known as quantum touch.

Then Noah found  a guru, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath and the meditation techniques of Kriya Yoga, which he now practices approximately two hours daily.

Dozens of incredible experiences have happened along his journey that have truly made an impact on Noah that have allowed him to wake up to truth. Noah promises to help you reach new understandings and success in all areas of your life…or even just to entertain!

John Romaniello, one of the most highly regarded experts in the fitness industry, has written for a myriad of publications, ranging from Men's Health to Fast Company, and has been featured as an expert on a number of television programs, including Good Morning America. Romaniello is an angel investor in addition to his writing, and serves as an advisor to nearly a dozen fitness and tech companies.

Clinically incapable of taking himself seriously, Roman lives in New York's West Village, shares a strained relationship with the NY Jets, and loves unicorns, sarcasm, poker and writing about himself in the third person.
